Beerenberg Asian Sticky Pork Belly Meal Base
- 1 brown onion
- 225g tin diced pineapple
- 1 to 1.5kg pork belly diced
- 2 red chillies, sliced
- Coriander
- Sesame seeds
- Chopped nuts
- 1 pack frozen bao buns, steamed
- 2 carrots, cut into batons
- 2 Lebanese cucumbers, cut into batons
Directions
Just prepare, set and let your slow cooker do the hard work while you get on with your day
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan. Brown diced pork belly & onion.
Add pork belly, onion, and remaining ingredients to your slow cooker, including the contents of your Beerenberg jar rinsed out with the juice from the can of pineapple.
- Cook in your slow cooker on high for 6 hours or low for 10 hours.
- Serve sticky pork belly in bao buns with the garnishes mentioned above.
